Large camp ground with lot of space between sites. Very quiet family camp ground, hiking to Jenks lake was great experience. Enjoyed the hail and thunderstorm during the peak of summer
Restrooms are clean and convenient

Absolutely amazing and now a location we will visit every year for at least 7 days. Super clean, camp hosts are nice and the beach is just a 3 minute walk. The parking pads for the sites are a bit small so be prepared to do a bit of reorganizing to get both your trailer and vehicle to fit.

Great shady well equipped site. Direct access to hiking trails. Friendly check in with host. Would be nice to see a mask mandate posted on the bathrooms.

Beautiful site! I came camping in the mountains to try to escape the brutal heat wave. There's plenty of shade but the sun will hit the tent area and picnic table in the morning. It got to the 80's during the day, but much better than the triple digit temperatures at home, and it cools off nicely at night. The campsite host is wonderful - she's very accommodating, and checks to make sure everyone has what they need for a pleasant stay. There are coyotes that howl at night, but just keep your campsite clean and your pets close, and there's nothing to worry about. The bathroom facilities are open, but the shower rooms are temporarily closed because of COVID. The bear lockers are very useful, and somebody left some beautiful painted rocks inside. The only drawback was that my neighbors had small kids that weren't having it with the camping experience and had some crying fits during the night, but otherwise overall a really great experience! I definitely recommend!

The camp hosts were excellent! They were very helpful and checked on everything a lot. Brought firewood to you and even carried it to your fire ring. They were polite and the best we’ve had

The ranger at this location seem to right of the back have a negative approach towards us. But we still enjoyed out stay.

Had a great time. great weather and was surrounded by people who were friendly and considerate of others who were using the campgrounds. Hosts were GREAT! ALWAYS visible and passively present. They seemed very eager to attend to the needs of campers and kept the facilities very clean and stocked.

Great campsite!
- clean bathrooms, always stocked with TP
- running water throughout campsite (no need to bring extra)
- host sells firewood $8 a bundle (no need to bring extra)
- avoid campsite #36, unless you like sleeping in an angle
- rattle snake signs posted everywhere but luckily we didn't run into any
- a good amount of bugs during the day - flies/gnats/tiny beetles/some bees - it wasn't swarming but certainly a bit annoying
- lots of shade
- camped 7/29/20-7/31/20
