This was our first #FamilyCampingTrip 😃 We got space #12 ... I loved it! I feel like it’s location is perfect. Not so far from the campground host, the restrooms and the dumpsters. It was located close to the highway but it wasn’t a problem for us. The noise from the cars was the last thing on your mind because our focus was on the beautiful forest scenery. Omg! I s as most forgot to mention the one thing that stood out the most to me. THE RESTROOMS were super clean. Like the sign on the door says that the restrooms will be as clean as the person who used them before you. Guess they were clean people because the 3 days I was they’re they were clean. Of course I took my disinfectant wipes wiped the toilet and sink down before my kids used them and I also took my Lysol spray. One thing you guys to have to be prepared for is the darkness. We thought we had taken enough light but no we were very wrong. Take lots of outdoor lighting or a really bright flashlight. It gets pitch black dark I couldn’t see 2 feet infront of me. I loved it though will be back again soon

easy access, clean campground. the bathrooms were well maintained, and the hosts were super helpful. came by for check in, and offered firewood for purchase. it was fairly quiet during our stay, however the camp was quite full. Easy access to trails from the campground without needing to drive.
Campground is right off the hwy, so you can hear traffic sounds all the time. It wasn't loud, but a reminder that you are not completely away from nature.

Great for a last minute overnight stay! Bathrooms were clean, easy check in, and a cute hike accessible from site. Only thing is that it was right off the 38 and I could hear the cars pass by at night. Normally I’d prefer to be a little more off the beaten path! But it was a nice escape during COVID! Kids had a blast!

The sites are mostly large and fairly private. Campground was very clean. Every time we've stayed it's been very nice.

First time up here, we are locals and found out about this gem in San Bernardino County. The park rangers were super helpful and nice, the campsites are nicely spread out. Honestly, there isn't a bad campsite, they are all so beautiful. We loved the weather, it was perfect! Night stars are amazing and very bright! Jenks Lake is 10 mins away, you can get your fishing license at Angeles Oaks, which is 15 mins down the hwy. We will definitely be back! We loved it so much!

Take I-10 East to Redlands. Take the University Street exit, EXIT 80. Turn left (northbound) on University Street. Turn right onto E. Lugonia Avenue/SR-38. Continue on State Highway 38 for approximately 20 miles to the campground entrance.
The campground is accessible via I-10, with a direct connection through State Highway 38, which leads to the campground entrance approximately 20 miles from the interstate.

Policies & Rules
General
- No first come first serve sites available
- In accordance with standard industry practices, Mountain Top Recreation will be assessing a $8 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. The fee will be collected at the campground.
- Bears frequent the area; carefully follow garbage disposal and food storage regulations
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
