Beautiful, well maintained campground with trails to walk from the campsites. Jenks Lake is nearby as well as the Santa Ana South Fork for fishing. The campground hosts, Scott and Priscilla, are super friendly and helpful, with a knowledge and love for the local area!

We have stayed here countless times over the years and will continue to stay here in the future. However, our latest trip wasn't the greatest experience. We won the noisy double site lottery. A large, noisy group occupied the closest double site to ours. In addition they had booked single sites before and after their double site. Needless to say, the result was more than 16 people in a site and excessive noise morning, day and night. On check-in the host was adamant about no music, verbally informing us as well as writing it in large letters on a rules flyer they handed us. Great! ...if you are going to enforce the rule. However, on multiple occasions we heard amplified music (not from a cell phone speaker) filling the peaceful mountain air. I believe the hosts that are stationed here normally had their days off during our stay. So there was no active host permanently stationed in the campground. On a couple occasions the fill-in host from Barton Flats made some rounds, but never after the quiet time start of 10pm to experience the noise first hand.

In addition to our noisy neighbors, the facility needs some work. A bathroom is in disrepair (apparently for several weeks from other reviews), and non-functioning water spigots were observed. Thankfully, not the closest spigot to us.

A helpful tip ...select a site as far away from the double sites as possible. It wasn't our first experience with a partiyng crowd and sadly I doubt it will be our last.

During check-in, we were informed about specific rules regarding music and maximum capacity, which we understood were strictly enforced. However, we noticed that in the two sites below us, there was a large group playing loud music throughout our stay, including during the designated "quiet time" hours. Upon reporting this to a male host with a dark beard, we were told that music was permissible from a cell phone, but the volume we experienced was clearly amplified and disruptive.
Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention that the restroom in our loop only has two stalls, and one has been out of order for several months. Furthermore, the large group left personal items and trash, including beer cans, around the functioning restroom.
It would be beneficial for the hosts to consistently enforce the rules and ensure that the restrooms are cleaned regularly for the comfort and convenience of all guests.

Campsite 34 , pretty nice, no shape over the table, it’s hot, but you can set up your own table under the tree. Had a good time there!

The campground is pretty with lots of shade and pine trees, however the is no respect over quiet hours. Two group of campers around us in two different sites were loud all night, they were literally noisy all night and continued even in the morning, they did not sleep all night. It was the worst camping experience ever. Also, the closest bathroom had one stall not working and long waits to use the restroom as there were only two stalls. No hot water in the showers. Never staying there again.

Nice clean camp ground. I like my area decent shade. And no one behind us but there were ppl on both sides of us. But still far away to not feel so intrusive, . Loved our camp host, Priscilla and Scott. I believe those are the names. I would book this spot again.
