Great campground hosts. They kept bathrooms very clean. Unfortunately, some campers don't read signs and wash dishes at potable water spigot (not the host's fault, just unworthy campers). Nice view of Bass Lake. Lots of poison oak on nearby trails so be very careful.

Forks is a nice campground with clean bathrooms and easy access to a town. The campground host was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at site 8, it was very hot with no shade in the afternoon. Prepare accordingly. Nice location on Bass Lake.

From Fresno, California: Take Highway 41 north through Oakhurst. Turn right on Forest Road 222 (toward Bass Lake), keep right for 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake Campground office. After registering, continue on for approximately 1.25 miles to the Forks Campground.
Elevation: 1033 feet
3.4 mi drive to downtown Bass Lake (about 9 min)

General
- All campers must check in at the registration office
- This campground has a security guard on patrol and an on-site host
- Two pets per site and leashed at all times.
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Sierra National Forest Headquarters, (559) 297-0706.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.

- Be bear aware; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating; always keep a clean camp and do not feed any wild animals.
