What Guests Are Saying

Lupine campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting in the forest with stunning day and night skies, plus frequent wildlife sightings, including deer and various birds. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While some issues with noise from neighbors and bathroom cleanliness were noted, many campers still had a wonderful time and expressed a desire to return.

Really nice camp host. The bathrooms were spotless. My guess is about 65% of the campground was empty which was nice. Things I didn’t like. A huge number of spots do not have a level place to put a tent, the outer rim spots were solely for RV’s. Its super annoying to drop 45 dollars for a site and not have a single spot to put a tent, and then have to drive to some office far away to change the site. 45 dollars for a spot here is ridiculously overpriced, that doesn’t include them also charging 10 to park down by the water. No level spot, no place to put up a hammock, the tables are so old they are rotting, holes in sinks, not much shade, and massive debris trash piles for 45 a night.

Beautiful location with easy access to the lake. The sites were clean and well maintained and host Alex went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We’ll be back again!

Map does not accurately reflect campground. We booked 2 sites as shown on map to be side by side, but in reality they were a 5 min walk apart.

Camp host lady was friendly and accommodating but we still ended up not using one of the reserved sites.

2 days after the Memorial 3 day Weekend, I end up in Bass Lake, CA. The Town and Campground were empty.
Lupine Campground was my base camp to ride my Motorcycle into Yosemite. The Flowers and Waterfalls we raging.
The Camp Host was great. He even came back to give me some details about the area and NP.
I will stay here again. 35 ft Motorhome.

Beautiful area. Excellent camp hosts. Saw plenty of deer and turkeys. On the down side though, no bear boxes for an area that is frequented by bears? Really? Asking campers to store food in their cars is not fair. Would the government reimburse us for damages to our car if a bear ripped it open?

So much noise from people, cars, and a kind of party in a site until very late. The restrooms were full all the time.
