What Guests Are Saying
Spring Cove Campground offers a beautiful, secluded setting with easy access to Bass Lake, making it a popular choice for families and groups. Visitors appreciated the friendly and helpful camp host, clean facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, particularly at more remote sites. However, some guests expressed disappointment over the availability and cleanliness of porta potties due to plumbing issues, and the campground's noise level can vary, especially during busy holiday weekends.

Walking distance to lake. If you want to walk book in sites 1-6. Any other sites are an quite an incline and if any disabled or out of shape people you wont want to walk. Site fit my 3 room tent(can accomadate much more than small tent here, ez up, 5 chairs around fire pit. Standing hammock, and portable shower tent no problem. Site is mostly shaded by 3pm and then in the sun from about 8am until then.perfect time to have coffee and get to the lake, and site is shaded by the time you go back. We got visited by two bears. Put your food away in the bear bins. Had we done this we'd probably not been visited. Alot of bees so I set a homemade beetrap out of a water bottle with some coffee in it and it helped. Entire family did get a few mosquito bites despite spraying down in deet. There were ants that got in our tent but I was equipped with raid. Bathrooms were clean and maintained which was nice. 10pm quiet time was not honored but this didn't bother us at all. Just some things to keep in mine when booking here.. the lake was amazing. We had such a good time. This is definitely a single family site though if you bring lots of gear. With no gear (shower hammock , ez up etc) you can easily place two tents here. (But you can only fit 1 vehicle and no extra parking) if you want to book a second site book 28 or 29. They are connected with a path and side by side technically. Careful if you're booking sites side by side. Majority of these sites have a small hill or trees between them. Good spots to pair with easy access would be 5 and 28 or 5 and 29. 28 and 29. 33 and 34 is so good with huge space but downhill to your spot . 3 and 4 smaller space next to camp host.. didn't walk the 40s and 50s to know how they look.

Beautiful campsite that’s near the lake and Miller’s. It’s just a short walk to a nice day use area. The campsites and bathrooms are clean and well kept. I only wish that quiet time 10:00pm-6:00am was enforced by the hosts and more widely respected by the other campers. All in all a nice campsite though.

This is repeat of my review last year. Cars go too fast in the campgrounds and the 5 MPH speed limit that was posted before the campground was refurbished have still not been replaced. As I had stated before, the 5 MPH speed limit was posted on signs and painted on the roads in the campround. Nothing has been done, again, and people are still flying through the campground. Is it that hard to post a 5 MPH speed limit?????

A beautiful campground! Clean, densely packed with vegetation, 1 to 5 minute walk to the lake depending where your campsite is. I will always try to reserve a spot here in the future!

The ranger was very helpful and the space was good. The lake is a must visit and very quick to walk down to.

Awesome experience. Maybe a little bit better communication on how/where to check in. I went to the station but they told me I could have checked in with the host. Nevertheless, still amazing - clean and beautiful. Can't wait to visit again.
