What Guests Are Saying

North Fork Campground is praised for its beautiful, peaceful setting along the river, spacious and shaded campsites, and friendly camp host, Sue. Many visitors enjoyed the amazing swimming hole and fresh spring water, making it a delightful escape for families and nature lovers. However, some concerns were raised about the access road's condition and the odor from the bathrooms, but overall, guests expressed a strong desire to return.

The campground during the weeks was quiet. The sites were all clean and flat. For trailers it can be difficult as the road is tight with a loop that connects with trees and boulders along the road right on corners. Even though the sites say they are certain length, you cannot make the tight loop of you have a longer trailer.
The only water available is at one spot, that is sourced at a spring and continually flows. The pipe is threaded pvc and don’t think a hose could attack if needed.
In the campground there is no cell service but up the road about 1/2 mi there is. The tree canopies so tight star link we brought is not a reliable source.

The water fall trail is easy but then drops off the trail to a steep trail down to the swimming area itself. Rough for elderly or young children

Space 11 is big enough for many tents, and backs up to a nice slope covered with trees. It's close enough to the river to hear it at night, and the hikes to the water are nice. Sue, the camp host is delightful!

The swimming hole is amazing! We got a thorough tour from Sue when we arrived and everyone who camped here was super nice and friendly. There is fresh spring water to drink and the sites are mostly shaded.
