We stayed for 4 nights. staff was friendly and check in was easy. the park has a small amount of long term rentals and a few were really run down. The handout given when you check in warns in bold print of all of the theft going on at the park. We also noticed a lot of homeless all around. I would not stay here again

This is a great rv park. Full hookups, on a bike path, near a lighthouse, on the ocean. Great staff that really care about their guests. I say that because someone’s dog got loose, and the owner was trying to find him, nevertheless the park staff asked the police to come help find the dog too. The dog was an aggressive breed and since there are children here in the park they wanted to avoid anyone getting injured. My traveling companion is very afraid of dogs, so this was comforting to know they take this seriously.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse Cove RV Park. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and offered easy access to the beach. We especially loved being right next to the bike trails, which made for a great ride to the bay and jetty.

We chose this RV park because of its convenient location. It was just a short drive to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, and Fern Canyon was about 50 minutes south of us, making it a great home base for exploring the Redwoods and surrounding coastline.

Since we were staying in our travel trailer, we didn’t have the opportunity to use the campground showers or restrooms, so we can’t comment on those amenities.

One thing we discovered during our stay was that there is a homeless camp nearby, and we saw several individuals walking past our trailer throughout the day. Nothing ever came of it, and we never felt unsafe, but we did make sure to lock up any equipment we left outside when we were away or for the evening.

Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again. The location, beach access, bike trails, and proximity to some of the area’s most beautiful attractions made it an excellent place to stay.

Stayed here recently with my 38ft 5th wheel and Victor the manager was an absolute standout. From the moment we pulled in, he was super helpful getting us backed in and set up, no rush, just calm and patient the whole time. He knows the local area inside and out and gave us great tips on beaches, groceries, and even some hidden spots that made our stay way better.
Super pleasant guy to deal with, always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The park itself is well kept with a great location near the lighthouse. If you're rolling through Crescent City, this place is worth it just for the service from Victor. Highly recommend!
Thanks again, Victor. You made our stay smooth and enjoyable.

Right on the waterfront with views of the Pacific Ocean and the protected bay. May 2026 bathrooms/showers are being renovated and there are temporary trailers. No issues with homeless or thefts. Had my non-electric bicycle chain locked with a heavy chain and heavy lock to our trailer and ladder so no issues as I said. Nice walking/bicycle path along the street/waterfront. No issues with any power, water or sewer. By the way this RV park is owned by Crescent City and has one full time maintenance employee and numerous work campers as well. No frills, in other words this is a place to stay and not a resort and it suited our needs for a 6 night stay. Workers are nice. When my wife fell down after stepping in an alleged grass covered gopher hole divit, I asked them to fill in a number of spots around our rv and they did so immediately.
