Desert Springs RV Park has a friendly community of interesting people nearby. However, the property appears neglected, with needs for cleanup and maintenance, including leveling of sites. Overall, some guests recommend looking for other options in the area.

Interesting people in the park/vicinty but the property is neglected. Could be nice if someone cleaned up & watered. Most sites are well out of level. I'd bypass the place and Barstow too.

It's been a couple of years since I stayed for several months while working a job. The bar at the property edge was perfect for food, with a good menu, when I didn't want to cook. Park was quiet, pond was a nice feature.

Best RV park in the area! My family stayed over a year and never had any issues. It's a safe area with a few things to do close by.
Debbie at the front is always so sweet and helpful!
In the summer they have the pool and a small pond for fishing.
I was also told they would be adding a play area for the kids!
Would highly recommend!

We had a great nights stay here! We needed an overnight stay heading to Arizona from California, perfect 1/2 stop! Very reasonable price compared to others. The staff and residents were very nice. So Quite we were able to get a good nights sleep AND sleep in actually! The facility ( pool. playground, etc.. ) need a little help but we were there for just the night and was perfect for us and out 4 legged fur babies. We stayed in sites 51/52 Thank you for a good nights rest ❤️

This is a modest little grass & gravel park, but I just have to give them a five star for trying harder. They keep the place very nice with a pleasing amount a landscaping, trees, flowering hedges. The park and restrooms are very clean. Nice views of the mountains & surrounding area. A fishing pond with fountain & ducks. Store, restaurant & bar. The owner is a really nice person, retired military, very "squared away" & eager to be helpful. During this stay we had a major breakdown. He has some skill in mechanics, and tried to help. When it proved to be a big job, the owner connected me with a good mobile repair outfit. We always enjoy our stays here.
