We hiked both Desolation Canyon and Artists Pallet this visit. Quite fun to hike new places. I can also recommend Mosaic Canyon as an incredible hike. The campground is quiet even though it was fairly full. Love the warm weather in winter time. Beautiful scenery and helpful staff

Overall, it’s good. However, it doesn’t have shade while the units on the left do. It’s also a bit far from the trash cans. The driveway is somewhat short— even if the first car is pulled all the way forward onto the unpaved area, the second car’s tail may still hang out onto the road. There is separate parking nearby, though.

The campers kept gong back to the car, created noise all night long. Otherwise it was nice camp ground and easy access to a lot of your site and hiking trails.

Great location with easy access to gas, amenities, and hikes! Perfect spot for stargazing, and our campsite had plenty of shade later in the day. Would definitely come here in the winter/early spring again!
