What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and roomy sites, many featuring trees for shade. While some campers noted noise issues and tight spacing between sites, the campground is conveniently located near major attractions and offers helpful staff. Overall, it provides a pleasant camping experience, especially for those seeking dark skies and easy access to amenities.

Camped in December. Was not able to see any stars due to fog. Puddles and mud during the rain but overall was a very pleasant experience. A bit of a walk to the bathroom. Equally distant to the designated parking spot.
We saw a coyote!

Great campground pretty close to the restrooms. The site sits a little higher than some of the other surrounding sites which pooled with a lot of water.

We had an amazing three-night stay at Furnace Creek. I loved that the Visitor's Center was right there, which allowed us to walk over for a Junior Ranger ceremony in the morning. It was also walkable to the resort next door that has a well-stocked general store (including ice, one review said it didn't have ice but it does, at least during the winter it does. Our spot was a nice one (#23) right across from the bathroom. We brought our regular tent and used our truck-top tent for sleeping. The spaces were sizable and even though our neighbors were close, everyone was quiet and respectful. We will definitely book a winter trip to Furnace Creek again.
