What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

Easy to explore the park from this location, centrally located. RV sites with electric had sewer and water which is very convenient. Camp bathrooms are well maintained so is the site overall. Peaceful in the evening, everyone respected quiet hours. Conveniently located near the ranger station which we used regularly for advice on excursions.

From the check in to the check out this was a great experience. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. The only caution is that cell service is so very limited as in non existent for me as I have Verizon. I adjusted easy enough but just something to be aware of. I had an excellent time and will try to be back next year.

For a busy and large NPS campground, it was very nice and clean. We tent camped and did not feel crowded in by the neighbors. I would stay there again.

Had a nice 3 day weekend out in furnace creek. The campground was nice and clean and overall nice and quiet considering that it was full. It was a last minute booking that must have been someone else cancelling so it worked out great to get the spot.
The rv water fill station and dump station were nice and no wait.
The only downside was the spots were really close so it felt hard to have a fire and sit outside without disturbing your neighbors.

Great campground, relatively central to many hikes. It is a shame though, how many people had lights outside their campers and tents, as the night sky is amazing.
Plan to bring your recycling and compost home though. There is very limited recycling and no composting.
