What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

Nice CG with good amenities. Close to Visitors' Center, ranch and it's amenities. Warning though, if you are new to visiting fuel, groceries, and more are very expensive so plan accordingly. Also cell and internet service in Furnace Creek are is 'iffy' at best and almost in not non non-existent once you travel away from Furnace Creek. Otherwise stay informed to closures, etc. either via the NPS website or info at the Visitors Center. Most of all, have fun; it is your vacation!

The location of this campground to major sights is very convenient. We stayed in site 76, and it was perfectly level which was great. Had to watch the reservations to get a site with hookups, but it was well worth it. The rangers at the entrance to the campground were extremely nice and helpful. Loved the drinking water stations, and that this campground was right next to the visitor center. Would gladly return here if needed. Only downside is cell service (Verizon) is essentially nonexistent, so prepare for that.

very busy. even trying to get a reservation with full hookups not possible 2 weeks before.
We had just as good camping at Sunset and Stovepipe for half the price
