Beautiful campground and convenient location. Site 30 was big enough for 3 tents and trees for our hammocks. The camp host was so nice and attentive.

Loved it BUT there was a family of coyotes at the top of my site (45). Luckily my 22lb dog was alright… I didn’t leave her out of my site but I definitely heard the coyote pups and saw two big adult coyotes.

I always have a good time at this campsite. Make note that there are no showers so I bring my own. The bathrooms are usually very clean. You are still able to have a campfire in the provided rings. The bear boxes are very helpful as there is wildlife. The camp host usually has the site prepped and cleaned for Check in. Currently there is a interim camp host who leaves at 5 PM, so be sure to get your firewood prior to.

Really quiet peaceful camp site, close access to local businesses and the lake! Were able to walk down to the lake from the site
Beautiful park and friendly camp hosts.
Many clean bathrooms (no showers)

This campground is always great. A bit noisy/crowded but is an equivalent exchange for being adjacent to the mountain resort and Village. Village is walking distance along a wooded trail (Towne Trail) or by road. Good cell service and amenities. Camp hosts are friendly and sell firewood bundles they will bring to your campsite for $10 a bundle.

Our stay at Pineknot Campground was excellent. The campsites were wonderful, the bathrooms were clean, and the location within Big Bear is perfect!

We stayed at site #20. Close to restroom, but also a lot of evening noise from some unsupervised teenagers who seemed to go back and forth several times. Really close to the MTB park. Would LOVE a shower, but getting to Serrano to take one wasn't too difficult. Convenient to get to town and other activities.
