Too noisey. No shade. Too crowded. Campsites too close together.

Our stay at site 020 overall was good. Our host was excellent so no issues there with him. We had shade and the bathroom was right next to us. The only complaint was that there’s no shower at Pineknot and we were told to go to Serrano for showers but nothing was open. We drove all over but no showers, luckily i brought my portable shower so it kinda worked out. I didn’t expect to use it but glad i brought it with us. Great site like i said and we would return next year.

Great location. Feels like you are out there but are still close to town. Ideal for people just starting to camp out getting back into it.

Loved this place, we had a great experience. Took my family for our first camping trip here. Nice tucked away place, the camp host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We just wanted a low key and enjoyable trip for our anniversary. The area was nice for the budget, and a plus was seeing the host's kitten and playing with her when she would periodically come out. It was a little unclear about the check in process, but the hosts were pleasant enough and helped out.

Almost every site is a rolling hill- caution which one you pick! The camp host (tall, skinny blonde haired guy) was exceptional! He was kind, patient, and not the normal crotchety- old fart that yells at everyone with a wife that gives everyone a disapproving look. The host kept the campground immaculate! One side note about entry- you have to enter the ski resort's parking lot and then do a sharp left to get on the back road!

I really wish there had been hand soap in the bathrooms. I'm not sure what the reasoning is to have running water but no hand soap (and no soap dispensers), but I know it was unexpected for other campers too. It was a bit noisy on one night due to a group that played music past the start of quiet hours. I wish the camp host had been more on it, but overall I enjoyed our stay.

The campsites are nice and spacious, plenty of shade, running water, clean facilities, it’s quiet at night, and our camp host was so awesome! He put on a magic show AND gave our car a jump after my battery died while packing to go home. We can’t wait to go back!
