We had an amazing time. The camp host, Sean, deserves a raise. He was amazing. We will definitely camp here again.

Camp host was super friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful and the temperature is perfect at that altitude. Sites are a little tight for a larger rv or travel trailer. The campground is on the site of the mountain so understandable how the layout is. Great campground!

campground was well maintained and clean...Shane does an excellent job as camp host. although the campground was full, with lots of families, everyone was respectful of quiet hours. close to amenities, yet felt fairly secluded. we spent our mornings and evenings relaxing at the campsite, and our days hiking all the beautiful trails nearby. with all the beautiful trees surrounding the campground, it made our late autumn tent camping trip even better - tons of leaf peeping ( :

Beautiful fall colors with lots of oak trees the last weekend of October. A bit crowded but lovely. Good access to nearby bike trails. Shawn (Sean?) the host was very helpful, accommodating and friendly.

Needed a spot for car camping at the last minute and Pine Knot came through. Spacious pad, clean bathrooms, bear boxes. Will be back next season.

This was a great spot but ur neighbors are not the friendliest. We did go to big bear lake where we rented a boat for $150/hr. Not much to see but it was cool. The campsite itself though was great and the staff keep it very clean including the bathrooms just bring your own hand soap.

Coyotes (you hear them at night!) and No bears in October it was too cold for them. There is bike trail and tons of hikes near the campsite.
