There shouldn’t be campfires allowed when the ground is so dry. The campsites are close together and the smoked filled our sleeping area nightly.

Great campground. Only negative is we thought there would be hot water somewhere in the campground. Not a deal-breaker. Very thankful for flush toilets. Lots of shade.

Beautiful campground, big sites, a lot of shade, clean bathrooms. The only thing is the absence of shower.

Overall, I usually always have a great time at Pineknot Campsite. This trip unfortunately site two across from us had a service that dropped off a trailer that had a very old style generator, which was extremely loud and offputting. To add to the noise, pollution, the site that is directly in front of the camp host, kinda in the hole across from the bathrooms, blasted their music the entire evening even after the federal Ranger drove through. They continued the loud music right up to 9:59 PM. I understand this is at no fault of the camp hosts, but yet it created a challenging environment, not only for us but many campers that were close to this site and we were affected by the noise pollution.
Otherwise, as usual, the camp host staff does a great job at cleaning up sites, being a resource, the bathrooms are always clean, and they are always friendly.
I did see an update of one of the dumpsters, closest to Campos, has been replaced as it previously did not have a lid to keep wildlife out. There are multiple dumpsters at this campsite that do not have the ability to close a lid to keep wildlife out of the trash.
Thank you you as always for providing a survey and the ability to give feedback.
