Clean, well maintained campground. The site we chose had plenty of space and a little creek running through it. Great first car camping trip for my 4 year old daughter.

Nice little campsite where, despite its proximity to civilization, you feel firmly-enough in nature to enjoy. Bonus for its proximity to fun little trails up the ski mountain.

Love this campground!!! Only thing that keeps the rating from 5 stars is fact the tables, grills, and tent spots are not level in every site. Hosts keep the campground spotless, extremely dog friendly, and sooo close to Snow Summit.

Enjoyed my stay at Pineknot campground at Big Bear CA. The online reservation process was easy and helpful... appreciated the campground map to help pick a site and the see what was available. The camp hosts were very helpful and supportive during my 4 night stay, and access to town within a half mile is very helpful for us "older campers."

Pine Knot is a great campground in the ideal spot. It is less than 1/2 mile to hiking trails and the mountain biking at Snow Summit Ski Lodge. It is less than 2 miles to the village and about 3 miles to the North Shore. The greatest plus is that the Campground Hosts are incredible people and work very hard to keep the campground and restrooms very clean. A great bargain with a great environment.
