We traveled 5 weeks and Pineknot is in the top 3 campgrounds we experienced. Camp Hosts Shawn and Charlotte were friendly and professional. Lots of mountain biking trails begin right outside the camp. Great singletracks with amazing views (there is some elevation gain required to get the best views). We are coming back next year for a much longer stay.

Great site! Super close to everything you need but still feel like you’re camping. You’re on the grid with cell service, if that’s what you’re looking for. Our campsite was on a bit of a hill, but not too bad. The camp host Sean is super chill and kind.

Campsites 001-007 have a main road directly behind the site; be aware, cars, pedestrians, and cyclists travel frequently on this road. Also, there are condos directly behind sites 001-005, and you can literally look into their dining rooms, so they can probably see your entire site.
