Quaint camp ground just off the main road. Enough of an escape. Shawn was the host during Halloween weekend, that dude is rad. Super warm guy and keeps the ground looking perfectly woodsy.

The campground, although basically in town, is beautiful!!! Bathrooms were spotless. On the down side, sites are on top of each other and people were very noisy and partying until 2 am. During the week was amazing! Weekends, not so much.

Love this campground. Each site is situated far enough away from each other to feel like you're actually in the woods. Sometimes you just want a bit of seclusion and privacy when camping. The on site staff person was also really friendly and helpful. Bathrooms could use a bit of cleaning. Keep in mind, there are no showers.

Nice little campground within Big Bear town and close to Big Bear Lake. Lots of fun activities for all ages. Clean restrooms and water spigots not far from campsites.

Great campsite, right on the outskirts of town so it's not very remote but it still feels like you're in the wilderness for the most part. Most sites are well-spaced. Space 22 is near a water spigot and the bathrooms, but not too near, and far enough away from adjacent campgrounds. However, there wasn't anywhere with kevel ground for the tent so I had to sleep on a bit of an angle, no biggie though.

We didn’t get to the campground till late. The camp host was very nice. We wanted to stay an extra night but no room. Host was able to find to give us a cancelation.

From I-10 in Redlands, take Highway 330 to Highway 18 in Running Springs. Continue east on Highway 18 at Big Bear Lake Dam, go straight at the dam and follow Highway 18. Turn onto Summit Boulevard and continue to a block wall. Turn left into the campground.
Pineknot is located near State Route 38, which provides access to the greater highway network. It is approximately 10 miles from Interstate 10 to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- In accordance with standard industry practices, Mountain Top Recreation will be assessing a $8 additional vehicle fee on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. The fee will be collected at the Campground.
- RV Length: Limited turnaround space restricts RVS longer than 25 feet.

- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed
- Recent bear activity in this campground. You are rquired to put your food in the bear box we provide. Do not leave any food in your tent.
