Pineknot Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with friendly hosts, making it an enjoyable experience for many campers. The sites are clean, spacious, and mostly shaded, with convenient access to nearby attractions and hiking trails. We had sites 5, 6, and 7. We are a Boy Scout Troop from San Diego that needed to do some altitude training before we head out to the Sierras. Scouts and. Scouters really enjoyed the campsites. Facilities are great and there is plenty of room to pitch your tent. We will definitely be coming back.

I had never been to that campground and I was very impressed. The host was super friendly. Very clean campground and everyone was so friendly. I liked it so well we are going back up in two weeks. I like that a lot of the spots were shaded and I love all the trees. I was very impressed how all the people were pretty much quiet.😊

Great camp, stayed there twice already. The host is on site only till 5 pm or at least only till then you can buy firewood. We got there 5 mins later and asked the host to purchase some wood but were told she’s already clocked out. The campsite is huge! Enough space for few tents, also it has two spots for fire and grilling which is awesome. The restrooms are clean. It’s located right next to the busy zip lines which are having a construction so in the mornings it’s not that peaceful.

Our campsite was clean and beautiful. We were very close to restrooms and a water supply. Being so close to big bear city was a plus also to allow us to escape the heat during the day and visit some local stores.

Beautiful campground that is close to town, but still feels like your away in the woods. Camp sites are well spaced apart. Camp hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they even delivered our firewood to our site. Restrooms were clean, but could use some updating.

Great campground, clean restrooms, great camp hosts, awesome and beautiful place. Word of caution, if you buy firewood from Stator brothers nearby, the wood we got was not seasoned and smoked/soldered and was not great to burn.

Great campground for riding bikes at Snow summit. You are at the base of the lifts. The middle camp sites seem a bit crowded as they back up to each other but the perimeter sites are nice. Lots of shade. Clean bathrooms.
