Pine Knot is a gem of a campground. It's peaceful and has lots of trees. The grounds are very well-taken care of and the location is convenient to stores and activities.

Pineknot Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with friendly hosts, making it an enjoyable experience for many campers. The sites are clean, spacious, and mostly shaded, with convenient access to nearby attractions and hiking trails. While there are minor concerns such as noise from neighboring sites and the absence of showers, overall, visitors appreciate the campground's cleanliness, management, and friendly atmosphere.

The campground is behind a very large and loud amphitheatre that frequently has competitions and races. It doesn't feel like your camping because you can see it right next to you and it is so loud you can barely hear eachother. Call the next door venue to ensure nothing will be going on. It was so bad we didn't stay but drove 3 hours back home.

The sites are large, quiet, & well maintained. The camp hosts are very engaged, helpful & readily available. Great experience for all types of campers: pros, first-timers, tents & RVs. I’ll be back!!

This is a fantastic campground. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of a shower. We will be back for sure!

Pine Knot is a great campground in the ideal spot. It is less than 1/2 mi to hiking trails and the mountain biking at Snow Summit Ski Lodge. It is less than 2 mi to the village and about 3 mi to the North Shore. The greatest plus is that the Campground Hosts are incredible people and work very hard to keep the campground and restrooms very clean. A great bargain with a great environment.

Enjoyed my stay at Pineknot campground at Big Bear CA. The online reservation process was easy and helpful... appreciated the campground map to help pick a site and the see what was available. The camp hosts were very helpful and supportive during my 4 night stay, and access to town within a half mile is very helpful for us "older campers."
