Great camp host and easy access to town.
The sites and bathrooms were clean.
The spacing of the sites are a bit crowded and lack any privacy, but overall people were respectful of each others space and kept a low volume.

Park was beautiful and clean, our site was very difficult to get into with all of the 8x8 , 16 inch tall posts lining road and all the sites. There were a crazy amount of flies around site as well. Don't know if that's normal for the area or not. But certainly was annoying. Will come back, but only a certain sites good for backing a trailer into.

Imagine spring break in the woods; loud campers, dogs off leashes and NO enforcement of quiet hours. None! You can openly smoke pot and party well past midnight. If this is what you’re looking for, change my rating to 5 stars. I wish I had a spot like this when I was 21.

Unfortunately for me, I was unable to sleep because I was busy explaining to my kids why the loud man keeps dropping F-bombs every other word at 2am.

My kids were also entertained by “Pepper” the chocolate lab who kept running into our camp. I love dogs but I did see and hear Pepper barking all day and night. This isn’t the campsite’s fault but something to consider when selecting a dog friendly campsite. Pepper’s owners were very inconsiderate, and with the amount of free roam Pepper was given, I’m sure he deposited a land mine or two around neighboring campsites.

Bottom line, disregard the Covid / single family warning on the website. I saw groups of 15 plus people partying like they were at a burning man concert. If the sound of the motorcycles on the highway doesn’t keep you up, a group of drunk mountain bikers will. I hate to give a low rating because of poor behavior of guests, but if the rules aren’t enforced, it makes it difficult to entertain the idea of going back or recommending Pineknot to others.

We spent 4 days at Pineknot and had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect, in the mid 70’s. We rode our bikes into town, walked the shops. Our site was huge, Played corn hole with the grandkids.
We will be back!!! Thanks

Campground was full, but pretty quiet for the most part with young families with children. Beautiful area with lots of space between campsites.

It was our first time staying at this campground and my husband and I enjoyed it. It is on the outskirts of town but removed enough to feel like we were far away. The campsites are evenly spaced and the bathrooms were clean and always stocked. No matter which spot you reserve you are sure to enjoy your time here!

I have been coming to this campsite since I was a little girl. The bathrooms were not kept very clean. Also the grill was not clean. The guy was really nice though. Just needs to keep bathrooms cleaner mainly.

Really great experience at Pineknot campground! Maybe stay away from spot 48 cause people are always walking through your camp to get to the bathroom.
The skylift was such a great time and really good lunch!
