Peaceful spot, clean restrooms. Spots can be a bit uneven but hardly a knock on the place.

We stayed at site 33 which was very spacious with level ground. The campground was completely full. Everyone was very nice and friendly. People respected quiet hours too. The host was nearby and a pleasure to speak with. Toilets were clean with good water pressure. The Village and several popular cafes were closeby. Our boys really enjoyed the camping experience. Will definitely be back!

Good site, we have a 10x13 tent and found a spot for it. Equally spaced between 2 restrooms, but not too close that you here them all night. Not too close to other sites. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy the pines and oaks. Nice Hosts. Clean bathrooms. This campground is tucked in behind some apartments and next to the ski resort. We didn't have any problems with noise or light from the apartments in our loop. During the afternoons there was some construction at the ski resort and had we been in the last loop that may have been bothersome, but we were there in October. Probably not a problem all year. Love how close it is to town. We visited the Big Bear Alpine zoo & Teddy Bear restraunt (cash only). The restraunt has a lovely patio & allows dogs. In October the overnight lows were in 40s, but day time temps were pleasant and mid to hight 70s.
