We were in site 7 which was spacious, close to clean bathrooms that had space for 2 tents and a fire ring and picnic table for cooking and relaxing. 10 bucks per night is fair. No access to the creek below for that site but there are a lot of other sites. Full disclosure, coming from a skeptical person I am still having difficulty with what happened. 2:30 AM, I woke up to a deer finishing our cheez it's than 10 minutes later my girlfriend told me there was a big black dog next to the bathroom barking at her, no collar, disformed somehow, filled soon after by a bright strobe light above our tent with a terrible noise like from an animal but like nothing we heard before. By the time I got back up, pissed and confused the light was gone and the noise was at the next campground up and getting fainter. I walked 100 feet towards the bathroom and the deer was lying close by looking afraid but not of me. With flip flops and a pocket knife I decided to go back to bed. My girlfriend moved her son into our tent and we went to sleep. I will go back, there was only one other person at the entire campground and now I am thinking he was a paranormal chaser. Now that I have had time to reflect it's creeping me out and I will find out somehow what happened I will leave a review to close this out when I'm done.

Great spot! The group site was set apart from the other sites which is nice for both our group and people in the other sites. The campsite was spacious w/ several water taps and clean pit toilets. The campsite is beside the river and surrounded by tall trees. It is 10 minutes from the Boulder Creek Trailhead and 20 minutes from the Lover's Camp Trailhead.

Indian Scotty is always beautiful. The river is just right to play in and the temp not yet too hot. Great place to camp, or just a day trip.

Indian Scotty is a great campsite, set far from the nearest town of Ft. Jones. The area is absolutely beautiful and full of great adventures ranging from cliff jumping, to hiking, to swimming at the local swimming hole.
