What Guests Are Saying

Grassy Flat Campground offers a simple and clean camping experience, with spacious sites and beautiful river access. While it lacks flowing water in bathrooms and campers need to bring their own water, it serves as a good alternative to busier campgrounds in Redwood National Park. Some noise from the road and nearby campers can detract from the peaceful atmosphere, but overall, it provides a pleasant camping option.

The campsite we originally booked was down wind from the toilet, making the site smell disgusting. We decided to move to one of the walk-in sites instead and found ourselves right next to the road. To be fair all of the sites were right next to the road, and the traffic never stopped. If you are looking for a place to “get away from it all”, this is not the one. There is no real sense of peace here.
