Love this place. I’ve been here twice now and both times it’s been wonderful. Even when it’s crowded it feels private and not too crazy, and there’s some beautiful trails that head down to the river with epic views. The flushing toilets are a huge plus and the bathrooms and showers in general were very clean.

Nice campground, showers/bathrooms very clean and comfortable. Our site (32) was right next to the bathrooms so lots of traffic. We also happened to be there when a couple of really noisy groups were there, not the camps fault. Road noise from 199 was occasional but noticeable.

Absolutely loved it! Great location, clean facilities. Bring quarters for the showers though..or just hop in the river

From Highway 101 north of Crescent City, California, take highway 199 east for 16 mi to the campground.

Panther Flat Campground can be accessed from Highway 101, which is located north of Crescent City, and Highway 199, which connects to the campground approximately 16 miles east.

- Additional fees will be collected at the campground for more than one vehicle. A limit of one extra vehicle is allowed.
- There are no electricity, water or sewer hookups at the campground
