We love this campground - it is a very short walk to the River & there are pools that are safe for kids & dogs to swim in. The campground itself is very clean, shaded & spacious.

We loved the swimming spots! The water was so refreshing and the jumping rocks were fun. We visited Stout Grove while we were camping, must see!

Great place to camp with clean bathrooms and showers. Avoid site 18 if you can not terrible but right next to the bathrooms and people often cut through

Beautiful campsites. My husband and I stayed with our pup for a night. We had a site closer to the river side with easy access to the short path down to the river. It was lovely to hear the river at night. Only complaint is that these campsites are really close to the through road in the campground and there isn't much privacy since cars and the host pass by frequently. Also quite a few kids just running past and biking past the campsites which to be honest, is rude and annoying. Would camp here again but in the off season.

Had a great site right with a short walk to the river. The river is wide and open to enjoy some swimming and sun. So refreshing. The campground was well taken care of and clean. Will definitely go back. Site 16

Really nice, shady campground. Sites are big and private, bathrooms were SUPER clean. Coin-op showers and movies projected on a big screen by the bathrooms on Fri and Sat nights. Fun little hike down to the river, too. The nearest town (Gasquet) has a small grocery, but expect mostly canned/dry goods and no produce.

This is a cool little campground. Most of the sites have good privacy. The bathrooms are clean, and the showers were too. You can walk down to the Smith River here, but there is only one 'pool' and a very small sandy beach that gets extremely crowded. You are better off driving someplace to the river where you have more room to spread out, and where you can tube down the river. Also, there are snakes in the small pool area. Some say they will bite, others say not. If snakes swimming in water bother you, then for sure drive someplace else to enjoy the river. I would recommend this campground for those who want a quieter camping experience.
