Visit Howland Hill Road near Jedediah SP off Hwy 199. Beautiful redwoods. Just try to go early in the day—the road is very narrow and too many vehicles.

Beautiful place, extremely clean facilities. We were unlucky and had a large group partying and playing loud music. It was so bad we left and went to a different campground.

We LOVED Camping here! The camp hostess was so sweet, and the campground was clean and beautiful. The bathrooms had flushing toilets and mirrors. There were even outlets in the bathrooms. The showers were great, bring quarters.
We were in campsite 29 and I thought it was the best. Close to the bathrooms but not close enough to be annoying. It felt a little more secluded and spacious than some of the others. Good trees for setting up a hammock and plenty of room for multiple tents.

We had site 17 which was spacious, private, views of the hills through the treeline, easy river access, close to bathrooms and quiet.

Pretty campsites with lots of huckleberries. Tidy bathrooms. Sites are close but well partitioned. Beautiful little beach with a nice swimming hole. Rangers thoughtfully stopped by to tell us about road closure.
