Panther Flat is a very nice little campground. Two buildings house a total of 4 showers and 8 toilets with sinks. No soap or paper towels. $2 Hot Showers and free flushing toilets make it a good place for families and those who prefer not to totally rough it.
No hookups but there are sites that will accommodate a trailer up to about 22ft. There are a couple double sites and many that can be “adjoining “ if you seek this.
There is River access at the lower level day use. Can drive down to parking area or take the steep trail down to parking area (pit toilets). At the day use River area you will find a busy swimming hole or can venture up or down the trails to find a more secluded access. It’s not fully accessible. Maybe use trekking poles along the way.
It gets really busy in the summer.
Please respect this amazing place and pack out your trash

Clean, quiet, hot coin showers. Would stay again. Dishwashing stations would be a huge plus

We had a great time. The campsite was spacious. Enough for 3 tents, but we only used 2. A fire pit with an adjustable cooking grill, a water faucet at the front of the campsite, and trash cans available throughout the area. What made it really nice is being near the bathrooms, but having no bathroom smell. They keep this campsite very well maintained. Very clean.
