Excellent campsite. Felt very safe here. Clean river. Peaceful except occasional sounds of RVs running gennys. Clean sites, showers, restrooms. Safe firepits. Nice and active on-site host. Good place for families. Will come back again. May be affected by wildfire smoke so check conditions before going.

Very clean bathrooms. Nice campsites. Our site was closer to the highway and you could hear a little highway noise but it wasn’t annoying and it didn’t keep us up. We were there Aug 6 and there were flies and mosquitos so prepare for that. It’s not the fault of the campground, it’s just the great outdoors in summer. Plan for it.

Beautiful spot for camping and swimming. Host are nice and friendly. Last year a good outdoor movie was shown. Not this year so we missed that feature.

We love this campground and the day use areas adjacent to it. We've made this an annual tradition for nearly 20 years now. This year, however, we ran into a group of campers that were inconsiderate and lacked the respect for the river that we should all provide. These campers were very loud until well after midnight. They also left their trash, EZ Up, coolers, and floating devices at the lower day use area. Totally disrespectful of the natural beauty and other visitors. Really sad.

When we registered we reserved a spot that would allow a trailer and two vehicles. The parking are was not large enough for two vehicles so I was unsafely parked at the opening to our campsite. It worked but it was not ideal. The gem of this location is the river and swimming hole- my kids had so much fun there! The restrooms were clean and large, showers are available and the toilets flush but no soap provided.
