No shade at this spot, you have to walk up a little bit to get to to it. Beautiful view. You are on the path to the bathroom for other campsites

The weekend was crowded and noisy. Weekdays were beautiful. Fishing was great but I'm not telling where.
This was our first Boat-In camp adventure with kids and grandkids.
Definitely will do it again.

Great sites clean with park bench and fire pit I normally bring a 8 man tent and still have room for a bigger tent. Quiet isolated really I couldn’t ask for more. Bathrooms are in good condition just make sure to bring ur own mountain money.😦 plenty of trails to hike or hunt for pig and you can fish right at your site what more could you ask for at the price you get the site for. Personally I love Sonoma and it’s only 1:30 min drive for me. Five stars for me. Even on a bad day.

The online map was not accurate concerning the placement of the campsites. The campsites themselves were fairly dirty and had excessive amounts of trash. The area has an incredible amount of potential and hopefully next time we can get a better spot.

All good, except the sites are way too close together, and previous campers did not respect the LNT guidelines.

Well besides the raccoons burglarizing the trash cans every night and scattering trash throughout the camp ground, it was a beautiful campsite. Loggers campground #4

Take Highway 101 north of San Francisco to the town of Healdsburg and exit on Dry Creek Road. Travel west 11 miles to reach the visitor center on the right. The public boat ramp is 1.5 miles further up the road.
The campground is accessible via Highway 101, which is approximately 11 miles east of the visitor center accessed from Dry Creek Road.
