Great customer service. The ranger at the front counter was eager to help with questions, very positive person, excellent representative of USFS.

Stopped here briefly in 7/2005. Not the only FS Station in town--there's a historic brown station on another street where I believe fire crews are based. Also a station at the airport.

Love the campground! Beautiful place to stay! The river runs through and is amazing! The only issue is the toilets, they smell up the entire campground. Surely, this issue can be fixed. Been here 3 times, same issue.

We only spent one night here on our way from Washington to Southern California. It's a little off the beaten path, but the canyon is beautiful, secluded and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. The only challenge to our stay was that someone else had accidentally taken our campsite, but there was plenty of other open spaces and it was very windy!

Staying at Tree of Heaven was great! We love the views of the river and the walked our dogs on a nice trail. It is pretty remote so keep in mind there is little to no cell service. The closest town is Yreka where we got our firewood and stopped for breakfast the next morning.
