Nice campground. Some sites (9 and 12) have NO shade. No swimming hole, muddy boat ramp. No camp host. Other campers were repeatedly driving motorcycles fast and loud in the campground.

We were slated to stay for 4 nights. Unfortunately the weather was unreasonably hot for June. On our second day with the temperatures expected to be near 100 the next several days we fled north back to Washington. The campground was nice, much shade, water and pit toilets. Very few other people there (maybe cause it was 90 degrees)

Very beautiful and quiet. lovely park like setting, with the river right there, making great river noise. We were only 1 of 3 campers which made our stay superbly peaceful and almost like we had the place to our selves! Bathrooms were very clean and campground was neat and tidy. The nature walk with explanation boards was pleasant and a decent length. Access to the water was not great, but it wasnt that warm while we were there so didnt matter. We were on a bicycle trip so only difficult thing was the road coming in and out...VERY STEEP, had to walk out the next morning but worth it.
