This tree filled little slice of heaven is on my trip list every year! It’s quiet with the sound of the river, wind and birds. The sites are pretty big and water is available! It’s not been full anytime I’ve been there , but by the end of the day, travelers and rafters come to spend the night. Clean bathrooms! Hard to get into the river unless you go through a muddy entry. But rafters love it because it’s easy for them to pull up to the back and hop in! No internet but that’s kind of nice, to unplug for a while. Easy trip to Yreka for everything one might need.

I love this campground. My 4th visit. It's a great place to spend the night when traveling along the 5. I would love to plan an extended stay one of these times.

Cool, quiet, tucked away spot along the river that was perfect for an overnight while traveling on i5. There is river access from the boat launch. It’s pretty muddy for the first few feet if you wade in but then gets better/more rocky.

Good campsite, slightly steep driveway down to the campground nothing too crazy though. Not very much people in the middle of the week. Nice river, hot weather in middle of August.
