What Guests Are Saying
Fern Basin is a charming and peaceful campground ideal for tent campers, offering friendly park rangers and clean vault toilets. Visitors appreciate the shaded sites, beautiful surroundings, and opportunities for nature exploration, with many highlighting the tranquility and lack of noise. Some challenges include tight roads, limited privacy, and occasional mosquito issues, but overall, it is well-regarded for a restful camping experience.

People were in our spot because they didn’t realize it was reserved. Lots of mosquitoes in June. Will try again another season.

Campground was clean and quiet but we left early because of mosquitos and yellowjackets. Glad we brought a screen 'tent.'
Also, we had reserved site 17 and were quite disappointed to discover most of the trees at that site had been recently cut down and it has no shade. Fortunately we were able to use a different site.

A very nice campground although small and without water due to the water restrictions in the area. No fireplace allowed but nice sites with lots of woods and trails.
