What Guests Are Saying
Marion Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful experience amidst stunning mountain scenery and well-maintained sites, perfect for nature lovers. While some visitors faced issues with parking and noisy groups, the overall atmosphere remains tranquil with clean facilities. The remote location enhances the wilderness vibe, making it an ideal spot for camping and hiking, though it's recommended to bring bug spray due to pesky insects.

We actually love camping on Marion Mountain and this was our second time there. The reason why it was a 3 star stay instead of 5 was solely based off of our neighboring campers. I can’t remember the site we were assigned, but it happened to be sandwiched in between 2 large families. Well, sometime in the afternoon, a pair of the parents got WASTED and started screaming at each other, and thus, set the mood for the entire night.
They calmed down around 9:00pm, but sometime around 2:00am, they somehow started back up and it was impossible to sleep. I “woke up” around 5:00am and they were still arguing. It was pretty uncomfortable to witness. Especially with their kids there, who were running around from one site to the other (which meant kids running through our spot and freaking out our dog)
All in all, book early, and try to reserve a space that’s not in the middle of 2 other sites.
