Lake Camanche North Shore

Worst experience of my life. This is my second time at lake.Comanche, the first time was okay.That's why I came back for a second time. I came in the 19th of June check out the 21st. On the 20th I ran into my first problem
Which was somebody was parked in my second parking spot? I had people come on the 20th. The people at the front desk told them somebody is in my second parking spot. I told them, I didn't give anybody permission to park in my parking spot. They gave me the person's name. I went to neighboring campsites looking for the person to ask them to move there car i eventually found them. It caused problems with my neighboring campsite. Because who should have came down and deal with them? Was the front desk?I'm not telling me the person's name and having me.Look for them because my second car could not go in. So eventually they send maintenance to investigate I see thr maintenance drive pass probably 5 times then they go to campsite. 53 and say, are you 50? I said, I'm 50.
I was kind of shocked that he did not know where campsite 50 was and he works there it's even labeled 50
where does my second car go? He had no idea even though I knew this is my second time staying here in my second car goes right by my first car by my campsite. The only thing maintenance could tell me is he can call a ranger. The lady in the front desk gave the lady my parking spot because she came in Irate, what does that have to do with my campsite a complete inconvenience. All of this could have been avoided. Why wouldn't they look at what campsite wasn't rented? And give them that parking, instead of give them the parking right next to them.That was rented for the weekend. Then we'll fast forward to the end of my stay by the morning, I was ready to go i had me and my kids cleanup, put our stuff in the car, we did a final walkthrough to make sure everything was clean, and we left and then I got charged $50 for a cleaning fee. I cannot get in contact with anybody because nobody answers the phone. And now I'm out of $50 and I cleaned my campsite be very leery staying at this campsite i've been calling them 3 days. I can't get in contact with anybody.. before I left, I took a picture of my campsite.

Goose shit everywhere, said it wasn't their job t ok clean It up. Oh plus I was charged twice. I refused to stay there. They do not return phone calls either...

Stayed in a beautiful, modern, two story condo on the lake last weekend and it was absolutely glorious!! The view was amazing!! Water is beautifully clear! The staff were over the top helpful, wonderful people! Kelley was one that stood out to us with her 10 star help and kindness! Love her and everything about our stay! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you Lake Camanche!!

Had an awesome time with my family. The cottages were clean and cozy! So many different fishing and swimming spots. The ice cream shop was my favorite!!

I had a fantastic time with my family. North Shore is huge and beautiful. There are so many places to swim and fish. We went out on an island and caught a bass. Bait shop has a great ice cream selection and they sell fishing passes.The staff working there were all easy going and friendly. We stayed in two cabins that conjoined. Plenty of big shade trees with a bbq stand and table. Absolutely going back !
