Camp Host was great (Alan). Great communication skills and gave me advice in regard to travels. The campground is clean. However, the reservations here work a little differently. You have to go to the camp host and instead of getting the campground number you reserved you have to drive around and pick/find an open spot. The restrooms are nice though. Showers are not running though I think because of COVID. Only issue we had were cars coming in at midnight looking for a place to set camp.

We had a lovely quiet day in the campground. Unfortunately, at sunset another group of campers arrived and ended up being incredibly noisy until 2am. The parents went to sleep but the kids were awake, including their young child who was scared on his first trip. This is understandable, but the parents did nothing save scream back at the boy tk shut up, and left their teenage son to handle it. We listened to the young boy curse out and scream at his brother for hours. At about two am the children got out of their tent and were setting things on fire, on a day where there was total fire restrictions. All of this was happening at the site right next to the camp host who did nothing, likely because he had the luxury of a camper van that could drown out their excessive noise. At the same time, another group arrived and started a full on fire, and nothing was said to them. The whole night was disturbing and did not feel secure due to negligence of the host. When the sun came up we promptly packed up and headed home to get some much needed rest. It’s a beautiful site, but without common decency and a proactive host ensuring quiet hours and safety protocols I would not recommend.

There is an extra vehicle fee of $8.00/night on the 2nd vehicle in each single campsite and on the 3rd & 4th vehicle in any double campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the 1st vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the 1st and 2nd are considered to be one vehicle and the 3rd and 4th are also considered to be one vehicle. So the fee would be a single $8.00/night of stay for the 3rd/4th motorcycle. |
