What Guests Are Saying

Pine Point offers a fantastic camping experience with great privacy, ample space for groups, and a central area perfect for gatherings. The campground features a safe swimming area, opportunities for kayaking and fishing, and is dog-friendly, making it ideal for families and friends. However, some maintenance issues, such as high chlorine levels in the water and overgrown areas, have been noted, suggesting the campground could benefit from more attention.

We have been coming to Pine point Campground in Shasta Trinity for 17 years in a row. We always leave the campground better than we found it. We do party pretty hard while we are there and the place is pretty trashed before we clean it up, (it’s a group site. No one there but us)...but we have never left it anything but pristine.
The Shasta recreation company representative that came down to tell us it was time to leave and we needed to clean up was very rude. He was freaking out that we had stayed an extra night, although that has already been paid for, and was just generally rude to everybody. That’s not how I expect to be treated in a place I’ve been such a loyal customer to. It’s the first time this has ever happened, so we will try it again. Hopefully this is the last bad review. Otherwise, a beautiful campground.
