Campsites by the lake are the best have the most shade. Felt we had enough privacy from our neighbors, nicely spaced out. Overall beautiful campground with clean bathrooms and friendly hosts.

We have camped at Silver Lake since the 50s, Family from afar would reconnect by camping together.
The new reservation system is horrible, we once could book a reservation for 14 days, now we have to book one night per camp site as that is all that is available, one nighters. We spent almost 2 weeks in June lake this past couple of weeks, we had to move to a new spot almost every day. The people who book a site for one or two nights ruin it for the people who plan all year for a vacation only to be ruined by those one night campers.
Why cant you designate 10 sites for those one nighters and let the 7-14 day people get the sites like we used to.
Please!
First come first serve (walk in) was perfect!
Thank you,
Cindy Hoover

New to this area and liked it much better than OH Ridge since we are boaters or like to hang out at the beach. Being further back made a world of difference. More tree cover and deer all around us 🥰 the lake was relaxing and shaded. The cafe at the general store is awesome! Convenient when you don’t want to cook. The store was well stocked and the service was great!

Ours was just a one night stay on a long motorcycle road trip and this was a great place to relax and recuperate. The weather was perfect and the night sky was amazing. Looking forward to a future trip where we can spend some time on the lake.

This campground would be near perfect if the campsites had full hook-ups.
