Mendocino Grove

I used to camp here with family and friends. No glamping crap that costs as much as a hotel.
We had a great time here now its turned into garbage.
It was our perfect spot, now its ruined.
If you want to actually camp
Casper beach has a great campground.

A magical place! Just off Highway 1, a million miles away from… Events here are AMAZING! Movie nights, live music. Fall Festival is not to be missed! “Tent” is not the word I would use to describe the accommodations. “Beautiful, spacious, Canvas Home” seems right! Comfy heated beds, porches for “porching” (Google it,) fire pits and Adirondack chairs, bocce ball, volleyball, sauna, walking distance to Catch a Canoe… GO HERE!

5 we had a wonderful time. Everyone was so nice. We enjoyed the heated blankets on our bed, the great food at the commons,, the relaxing sauna, the adorable raccoons 🦝, the overhead heaters in the commons, the beautiful flowers and all the lovely and friendly guests and their children. Thank you for a most enjoyable weekend.

Everything was amazing! We drove 9 hours to stay for 5 days here at mendocino grove.
The coffee every morning was perfect.
The showers and bathrooms took things to the next level.
The staff were all amazing and accommodating.
Definitely will be back!

Mendocino Grove is the kind of place that makes you feel both refreshed and well cared for. From the moment we arrived, the staff stood out, not only friendly and welcoming, but genuinely attentive. Danielle went above and beyond to help us with a special accommodation request, and did so with such grace and ease that it really set the tone for the rest of our stay.

The grounds themselves are beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The communal fireplaces were a highlight, especially the one in the morning where guests gather over complimentary oatmeal, banana bread, and coffee. It creates this warm, communal vibe that makes the experience feel so much more than just a stay in nature.

And don’t skip the outdoor showers. They are fantastic, peaceful, invigorating, and one of those small luxuries that ends up being a favorite memory.

This was my third time here and we can't wait to return!
