Lake Hemet Campground

I am local, and we decided to take our 4 kids camping. Made the reservation and were very much looking forward to going today for 2 nights and 3 days.
We got everything ready and had our tent chairs and other various supplies on the porch to pack up. Dogs got into our yard, (we just had to put our dog down on Friday, probably why dogs are getting in now) and tore up our tent and other items.
We asked for a refund, just on the chance they may be willing.
They did and I am incredibly grateful for the compassion we were shown. We will be planning a camping trip here again soon.

We had a great experience camping at Lake Hemet! The campground was clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The lake is beautiful, with amazing mountain views that make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

The campsites were spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There were clean restrooms, showers, and plenty of activities such as fishing, hiking, kayaking, and simply enjoying the outdoors. It was a great place for families and anyone looking to escape the city for a weekend.

One thing to keep in mind is that cell service can be limited depending on your carrier, so it's a good place to unplug and enjoy the surroundings.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Lake Hemet for camping. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice campground. Family friendly, pet friendly. Warm, fee-free showers. Semi clean bathrooms. Full hookups, primitive, cabin, and glamping available. There's a market and deli. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding areas. Great place to relax and unwind. We're definitely coming back.

Lake Hemet Campground exceeded our expectations. It was so beautiful. The camping spots were so spacious. The bathrooms were spotless. The staff was so welcoming and friendly and it felt like they always kept an eye out. An employee named Holly witnessed our puppy break away from her leash to chase a Blue Jay and offered to loan us one for the duration of our trip. We are so grateful for her kindness. It was fantastic. We will be back. It was a little challenging keeping our water dogs out of the lake, but that is for their safety obviously. Loved Lake Hemet.

Great camping experience! Our campsite was spacious and had a very nice table and firepit. My wife and I enjoyed how close to the lake these spots were so we could do a little fishing. The site was well laid out and was easy to walk around. The store on site was nice as well! We had forgot to get some jiffy pop and sunflower seeds and were happy to find those in stock!
