It was my first trip to the park and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The camping experience was very nice, aside from the cheeky racoons. But they were cute, too. Having a pool is quite nice. The store was amazing, with unbelievable selection, and surprisingly fair prices. I only wish that the camp store would open a little earlier in the morning so that early risers could grab something before leaving.

We had the best time! Our campsite felt very private, set back from the other spots, and had shade! We came on a weekend but the campground still felt quiet. It was the first camping trip with my little niece and she loved it

We had a fantastic time. It was a little hot but that didn’t stop us. We got up early and enjoyed a hike through the balconies cave. We say so many animals, birds and lizards on our adventure.
We were surprised to learn the campground was hosting a star party that evening. I left prepared to change the outside lighting on my home to help preserve the night sky. We were amazed by all the sights we got to see through the telescopes and everything we learned about the night sky.

We were happy with all the staff. Wish they had more shade for RV’ers. It was extremely hot during our stay in early June and we had to cut our three day trip short do to the extreme heat. The pool was very cold but it felt refreshing. The RV camping area roads are unpaved and it was pretty dusty. They do not offer water or sewer connections so you need to fill your fresh water tank from a self provided hose. The general store was well stocked with all the essentials.

Site 61 was surprisingly nice. Lots of room, private, and shaded! Porta potties were very clean! Stocked with TP, seat covers, and paper towels at the handwash station. Nicest showers I've seen at a campsite!

Pinnacles is one of the smaller national parks, but that made for an exceptional experience. Not as crowded, but excellent hiking and tons of wildlife.

I loved staying in this campground in one of their little cabins! It was very convenient for us, as we flew into the area and didn’t want to travel with all of our camping gear.
Being in the middle of nowhere, the campground is beautiful, with a lot of wildlife and gorgeous night sky. Showers were pretty clean. The campground store has a lot of stuff! So if you forget anything, they probably have it and you don’t need to drive an hour and a half to get it. Many hikes are conveniently located nearby. There is a fire ring outside of each spot, and a picnic table. The bear box outside is for anything with scent- and absolutely use them. We were almost ganged up on by a pack of 5 raccoons, and they definitely would’ve taken our stuff had our backs been turned. Don’t even leave stuff out to go inside for a second. They were traveling around to multiple campsites, and the crows were pretty brave too. No need to be scared though, just vigilant and firm if they approach.
The cabin gets very stuffy and warm during the day, and cold at night, being a pretty barebones setup. A fan is provided, but using it and opening the windows for circulation didn’t do much. Neither did the heater they provided. Wasn’t really a problem, but be aware that you’ll need a place to stay cool during the day and warm clothes at night. We stayed in one with electricity and it worked fine for the small lantern and charging our phones. No overhead lighting, but the lantern was enough and I preferred that.
Altogether, I think this campground is in a perfect location for visiting Pinnacles NP. I really loved it here and would come back. The cabin was cute and made me feel secure at night. The bed was comfortable.

The area and hiking was excellent. We saw so much wild life. The bathrooms were not lite at night which made it difficult. We were surprised the showers were only available at the bathrooms behind the camp store.

Great facilities-showers/pool and store/visitor center. Was unexpectedly picturesque with the oak groves. Staff helpful with letting us change sites for better shade. RV sites perfectly level-always a plus.
