I looked online and read reviews so I was aware of some tight campsites, and the raccoons! We had spot #18 and it was awesome! Lots of space and privacy. The bathrooms were great and camp was clean. We purposely went during the week and while it was cooler weather. Early May. We hiked the High Peaks trail which was challenging but the views were worth it! Overall awesome park. Wish the trailheads were marked a little better but we will become more familiar before we go out next time. We didn’t utilize the pool or showers but they were up and working. And the little general store was great for having a treat after the hike. We will definitely come back to this beautiful hidden treasure. Note: firewood was expensive bring your own.

Best private spot in the campground with your own driveway! All quiet by 9 pm. Wish I had brought gloves for cold early mornings even in May 50º felt like 30º. Through no fault of the camp, I was highly allergic to something and suffered. My dog stepped on a ground bee (they were everywhere) and got stung on her paw. She had a bad reaction but eventually recovered.

Having a pool is marvelous. the staff was informative, pleasant and accomidating. The trails and the camp were clean and in good shape. The big birds were cooperative.

The campsite is organized, park facilities are clean. Benches and food box provided. We had a great experience.

Loved the hiking and trails were well marked. Tent cabin was very clean and big , BUT the temperature really drops at night and the heater provided doesn’t help enough. Bring sleeping bags and warm pjs!

The campground was spacious and quiet. It was a short walk to a clean, functional restroom. At night, the stars and Milky Way were beautiful. Pinnacles is a lovely park to visit with wonderful hikes, flowers, soaring condors and caves

The high peaks hike was awesome, we saw a horned lizard on the trail. Steep and narrow but so much fun. The campground was full of deer, raccoons, birds, and quail. It was cold in the morning but we added more blankets to warm up. Would love to go back in the future and hike to the caves.

Beautiful park. Except the feral racoon that stole my new bag of dog food...prob my fault. O well. Spots were clean. Roads were clear. Maybe camp store could have more selection of supplies. Dog food , eggs, beer....etc.

This is our second visit. The campground is well spaced out and the campsites are adequately large. We had an electric hook up, which was great. There are many trails directly from the campsite. There is also a camp store for all of your needs as well as a national park store. There is also a dump station and water available. The bathrooms and showers are clean and plentiful.

The campground was o.k.
The nearest bathroom was .23 miles down the road.
There was lots of dust that was made worst by an employee who insisted on racing his cart through the campground.
Never saw a ranger. The campground is run by a private contractor.
I wouldn’t go back.

General
- Generators are not allowed at any time in any site.
- Tent/RV Sites: 6 people, 3 tents and 2 vehicles or one vehicle and one trailer or RV/Motor home. Group sites: 20 people, 5 vehicles max. No RV’s, motorhomes or trailers allowed. Any self-contained vehicle designed for sleeping is considered an RV/Motor home. Extra vehicles MUST be left in the overnight parking lot. A tow vehicle plus a trailer counts as two vehicles. Social Trails: Avoid walking through other campsites, creek beds, and closed areas.Lighting: Party lights, disco lights, Christmas lights, travel trailer parking lights, any decorative lighting must be turned off starting at 10:00pm and ending at 6:00amParking: All vehicles and bicycles must stay on paved surfaces. Where parking pads are provided, vehicles must be parked with all wheels on the pad and may not extend into the traffic lane or into the campsite. All vehicles must be parked at thier respective campsites in front of the parking stops. Moving parking stops, driving beyond them or parking in another area/site will result in a ticket from NPS. If your vehicle does not fit in your site you MUST park it in the overflow parking area bhiend the store. Wastewater: carry to toilets for disposal. Washing dishes/clothing and brushing teeth at water spigots is prohibited.
- RV Sites: have 120v/ 30-amp service; EV CHARGING IS PROHITIED AT RV SITES, An EV charger is located by the store. Tent and group sites have no hook-ups. Generators are not allowed at any time in any site.
- Swimming pool: is open 4/1 to 10/31, weather permitting. No lifeguard on duty.
- Pets: allowed on leash in the campground but not on hiking trails. NEVER leave unattended.
- Wi-Fi: Guests receive 30 minutes of complimentary Wi-Fi. Extended access is available for purchase. Wi-Fi use is optional and not included in the nightly rate.
- Dump station: is available for registered guests.
- Trees: All trees, even when healthy and well-maintained, can pose a natural hazard of falling limbs. Visitors assume responsibility for any property damage, injury or other circumstances that may result from these hazards.
- Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property: Pinnacles Recreation Company is not responsible for loss or to property due to fire, theft, accident or any other cause.

- During peak visitation periods, access to the campground through the East Entrance station may be restricted. Delays can be expected due to high traffic volumes and parking reaching capacity. We advise planning accordingly to avoid prolonged wait times. Pinnacles experiences extremely high visitation on weekends, holidays, and during favorable weather, especially in the spring. Expect long lines and delays [or possible restrictions especially] between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- Restrooms (Loop C) Loop C does not have flush restroom buildings. Portable toilets are located in Loop C. Flush toilets and sinks are available in nearby Loop B and Loop G.
