Love to camp at National Parks.
Totally unhappy with the online registration system that shows no availability but when you walk the campground countless sites tend to be unoccupied and in this particularly location there were no first come first served sites at all? Camping is not supposed to be a book six months in advance system.
On top of that when you want to add a night when it becomes available last minute...you pay another excessive fee to the online provider that does not benefit to the National Parks.

the entire area was VERY over crowded - the light restrictions on RV sites was ignored - neon and string lights everywhere which made star gazing poor at best. The staff seemed more interested in selling stuff than answering park questions. NONE of the parking sites had any access several differnet times of day making access to Pinnacles and natural areas inaccessible for this senior.

Stayed at site 30 with our 20ft travel trailer. Easy to access, plenty deep and wide to park trailer and truck side by side with feet to spare to road.
NO Generators WAS AWESOME! I could actually hear nature instead of that annoying hum! Thank you for not allowing them in the park!!!
Campsite store was well stocked. Having the shuttle bus from the store into hiking trailheads was a nice addition for crowded weekends.
Bathrooms were in good condition, but didn't use the showers which were free.

Everything was great. You must put away all food at night or the raccoons will get to it. They know how to open ice chests and tents. As long as you take precautions, all is good.

It was nice to stay inside the park. We arrived in the late afternoon and explored the campground but the visitor center and store both closed early. To avoid crowds on the trail, we left at 6:30 to get a parking space so it wasn’t as relaxing as we prefer.
On our second day we asked for junior ranger books to complete with our kids and received a gruff response from the park staff. The park is unique but the ongoing joke after was that it employed rangers in training for more majestic nearby locations.
The bear gulch trail was great with a flashlight and a few young kids. We just wish the interaction between our group and the staff was the same as our previous experiences with park rangers.
It’s worth checking off the bucket list but I would recommend to limiting your trip at this location to a few days.

Some of the campsites are well-screened from nearby neighboring sites by trees. It's worth consulting the campsite map if you have options when making your booking. The showers no longer require quarters (Yay!), and one of the two stalls in the women's shower building had shampoo and conditioner available. Don't be fooled--the other one didn't.

The company running this place needs to be replaced. $12 for dish soap! Poison Oak everywhere!

General
- Generators are not allowed at any time in any site.
- Tent/RV Sites: 6 people, 3 tents and 2 vehicles or one vehicle and one trailer or RV/Motor home. Group sites: 20 people, 5 vehicles max. No RV’s, motorhomes or trailers allowed. Any self-contained vehicle designed for sleeping is considered an RV/Motor home. Extra vehicles MUST be left in the overnight parking lot. A tow vehicle plus a trailer counts as two vehicles. Social Trails: Avoid walking through other campsites, creek beds, and closed areas.Lighting: Party lights, disco lights, Christmas lights, travel trailer parking lights, any decorative lighting must be turned off starting at 10:00pm and ending at 6:00amParking: All vehicles and bicycles must stay on paved surfaces. Where parking pads are provided, vehicles must be parked with all wheels on the pad and may not extend into the traffic lane or into the campsite. All vehicles must be parked at thier respective campsites in front of the parking stops. Moving parking stops, driving beyond them or parking in another area/site will result in a ticket from NPS. If your vehicle does not fit in your site you MUST park it in the overflow parking area bhiend the store. Wastewater: carry to toilets for disposal. Washing dishes/clothing and brushing teeth at water spigots is prohibited.
- RV Sites: have 120v/ 30-amp service; EV CHARGING IS PROHITIED AT RV SITES, An EV charger is located by the store. Tent and group sites have no hook-ups. Generators are not allowed at any time in any site.
- Swimming pool: is open 4/1 to 10/31, weather permitting. No lifeguard on duty.
- Pets: allowed on leash in the campground but not on hiking trails. NEVER leave unattended.
- Wi-Fi: Guests receive 30 minutes of complimentary Wi-Fi. Extended access is available for purchase. Wi-Fi use is optional and not included in the nightly rate.
- Dump station: is available for registered guests.
- Trees: All trees, even when healthy and well-maintained, can pose a natural hazard of falling limbs. Visitors assume responsibility for any property damage, injury or other circumstances that may result from these hazards.
- Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property: Pinnacles Recreation Company is not responsible for loss or to property due to fire, theft, accident or any other cause.

- During peak visitation periods, access to the campground through the East Entrance station may be restricted. Delays can be expected due to high traffic volumes and parking reaching capacity. We advise planning accordingly to avoid prolonged wait times. Pinnacles experiences extremely high visitation on weekends, holidays, and during favorable weather, especially in the spring. Expect long lines and delays [or possible restrictions especially] between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- Restrooms (Loop C) Loop C does not have flush restroom buildings. Portable toilets are located in Loop C. Flush toilets and sinks are available in nearby Loop B and Loop G.
