What Guests Are Saying
Meadowview Campground is praised for its spacious sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and convenient location near Pinecrest Lake, making it a great choice for families and groups. The addition of a reservation system has improved organization, and many campers appreciate the clean facilities and friendly staff. However, concerns about noisy neighbors, restroom maintenance, and rule enforcement have been noted, indicating areas for improvement in the overall camping experience.

We had an amazing time! I love this campsite, it’s pretty quiet and so beautiful. Only thing is we didn’t realize sites 212 and 213 are up quite a big hill from where we could park. I’d say if you book those two sites, pack light because it’s a lot to haul up and down.

It was pleasant as always EXCEPT that the restrooms were unkept. It seems like the male restrooms have not been cleaned since I was there last year. The bottom of the stall, corner of ALL the floors and all around the toilet and sink have not had even a minor scrubbing . The walls are in terrible shape and need to be cleaned (get a hose and soap and hose it down at least) and let's get a thin coat of pain. it is pretty deplorable. The wife says the female restrooms are in fair condition so that is a relief . Just because males tend to not complain as much about restrooms is not a reason to be lazy and not upkeep them!!!

Camp site was spacious and well maintained. Restrooms were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. Easy walk to Pinecrest Lake. Great coffee shop within the Meadowview campground. I’ll be coming back next year.

Would like if the bathrooms were done at Meadowview campground other than that was great

We were camping with 2-4 year olds. They typically go to bed around 8. Unfortunately, people throughout the campground were running around and yelling very loudly and keeping the kids awake until around 10. I understand there is some game campers are now playing that they keep yelling “Elmer”. I’m sure this is fun for many, but we go camping to enjoy the peace of nature. We were trying to still enjoy ourselves with some sleep deprived children. I would like to see this game banned and the quiet hours changed to 8pm.

Campsites were great, nice big sites that are well maintained. Clean bathrooms, several potable water spigots nearby to get water, however a utility sink to wash dishes would be nice as there was no designated area to clean dishes. Bear boxes were nice to store our food. Great location, close to Pinecrest lake and all of its amenities while being a little further away and therefore quiet. We enjoyed watching a movie at the amphitheater. Overall we had a really great experience and will be back.

Extremely large campsites (to the point that hosts can considering increasing the max-allowed limit), well-maintained bathrooms, and well-monitored camp. The hosts enforce noise constraints. They sell firewood at the hosts' tent.
Some noise from the nearby highway, but you hear it only at night and only if you focus.
Nit: bathroom lights were not working during our stay, but it's fixable and okay.

This was our first visit to Meadowview Campground and we loved it. The facilities were clean-ish, but what we loved most was having all the big trees and forest all around the sites. Definitely go for a perimeter site, as they are very spacious and have more privacy. Can't wait to go back.
