What Guests Are Saying

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort offers a pleasant atmosphere and is conveniently located near downtown Pismo and the beach, with well-maintained sites and enjoyable amenities like a heated pool, restaurant, and general store. While the on-site dining experience and service could improve, many guests appreciate the friendly community and beautiful sunset views. Overall, the resort is a nice option for RV camping, though there are some areas for improvement, particularly regarding staff engagement and noise levels.

A nice chill atmosphere and close to downtown pismo. Walking distance. Easy access to the beach. The sites are well kept and clean. They also have a restaurant with great food.

NOT a hotel. It is an RV camping spot. Very nice amenities… pool, shops, restaurant (serving really good food)and has outdoor seating with patio heaters and fire pit tables. But No access to the beach.

I recently stayed at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. From the moment we arrived, the overall atmosphere felt disorganized and unprofessional. The front desk staff came across as disengaged and uninterested in helping, which set a disappointing tone for the rest of the trip.

During the day, security appeared inattentive, often standing around rather than actively monitoring the property. It didn’t give much confidence that guest safety was a priority. I also noticed maintenance staff smoking in visible areas around the grounds, which didn’t reflect well on the resort’s overall presentation.

We tried eating at the PCV Grill on-site, hoping for convenience and a decent meal. Sadly, the food was underwhelming and overpriced for the quality. On top of that, the music selection was loud and, in my opinion, completely mismatched with the relaxed beach vibe the resort seems to advertise.

The general store experience was equally strange. The employees seemed distracted and unprofessional, creating an uncomfortable shopping experience rather than a welcoming one.

Overall, while the location itself is great, the service and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t return based on this visit.

Nicely maintained facilities. The on prem food is just OK. Most fellow RVers are nice, but you get an occasional person who could care less who is around them. They don’t do much to moderate them. Lots of dogs, we usually keep our big guy inside. Lots of small barky dogs usually fenced in front of RVs. One big request, it would be so nice to have an online reservation system and have the ability to pick spots. It’s hit or miss. We usually get in around 3pm and have had OK luck the 4 times we have stayed over the last year. Little pricey. The beach access is worth the hassles. Lots of kids and families. Pismo has lots of good food. Just be patient with rude folks now and then.

First time here. First time using our camper we purchased and it was also stored here. The place is pretty well kept. There was lots of maintenance and stuff members, and they were very polite and helpful. The beach view was beautiful at sunset! There’s a general store and a restaurant and laundry mate. We didn’t get to the pool, but it looks heated. Great experience.
