What Guests Are Saying
Fashoda campground offers a beautiful location with clean facilities and welcoming hosts, particularly praised is Kelly for her attentive service. The spacious sites are well-maintained and conveniently located near the water, making it ideal for families and outdoor activities. While some guests experienced noise disturbances and issues with campground etiquette, overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed a desire to return.

Wonderful experience! Stayed at campsite 13, lots of trees to set up guyline for our pup. Lots of space to set up and being so close to the water for afternoon dio was great!
Wonderful hikes in the area that are dog friendly. Will return for sure! Especially mid week when things are quiet.

I give it only 3 stars because the camp host was not doing his job. All the bathrooms were out of toilet paper and were really dirty. Other than that everything was really good like always , we camp here every year and it’s always very nice place .

Our family has been coming to Fashoda for last 20 years every year around July 4th. And unfortunately to say this year has been the worse. And it's all because of the ranger or the host there. She was always under the influence, always has an open beer can in her car. She was extremely unprofessional, very rude and very aggressive. She was dropping f words in front on our children, screaming and constantly threating to kick us out. Even though we had a really nice and quiet group. At one time she came in at 10pm and tried to force us to all go into our tents even though we had no music playing and we were not loud at all. Another thing there was never any toilet paper and toilets were very dirty.

Always the best time here. Water was nice and full, be going here almost yearly for 16 yrs. 1st time we ever had a bear go through our stuff. Which cut our trip a day short.

We really enjoyed Fashoda campground. The host was so helpful and the vault toilets were clean and well stocked. The only issue is I would advise people to either not choose site 5 or to be aware that campers in site 8 will cross directly through your campsite at all hours because the pathway from that site to the parking lot and additional bathroom around is far too long and people just don’t use it.

We have stayed at Fashoda 3 years in a row . 10 is right next to the vault stinky bathrooms. Not a bad site short walk to the lake . Easy check in . Host is great & does checks frequently. Not the best at having people keep the noise down.. good fishing spots .

The new camp host Kelly is the nicest and most welcoming host that we have experienced. We have been going to this campground for over 10 years now and always have a wonderful time. Kelly was always checking on all the campers making sure everything was ok and she kept the bathrooms clean. I hope she is there next year again!

The location was easy. Plenty of parking. Right next to the beautiful lake. The trail head to Bassi Falls was about 20 mins a must see. We will be back.
