Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. This is a great place to stay while traveling on Interstate 5. You are right next to the Sacramento River. It does not seem that there are any comparable campsites between Redding and the Bay Area.

Bathrooms needed a code to get in and weren’t fully functional. Campground was half empty but decently clean. Site was ok sized.

Great option for traveling through. Gate locks after hours, but with reservation (phone reception good right at the gate) will get code to get in. Clean facilities, sufficiently quiet.
